Week 4 done!

Talk about a hard week. This week's challenge was really hard for me. Going no carbonation. It really wasn't the carbonation it was the caffeine. Life at home with the kids and my father in law I really needed caffeine. I gave in 3 times this week. On those days I even went all out and have 2 cans of Pepsi. My lose for this week was .01 lbs. I didn't even workout much unless you call picking my father in law of the ground 11 times this week. (He's learning re-recognize his left side again). Next weeks challenge is house/yard work challenge. Adding 1 hr a day of house or yard work. Now lets hope for good weather. :)

Week 3 down

This week was hard. I gave into so many things and I worked out like crap. I lost 0.7 lbs with a total of 3.7lbs. This weeks challenge was 30 min extra cardio. I struggled on it becasue I felt really lazy this week. I'm not really sure why this week was such a struggle for me. I'm mixing up my routine and my diet is things I like to eat and I love trying new things. Let just hope and keep out figures crossed it's a better week next week. Week 4 challenge is no carbonation.

My workouts

With my FIL living with me now going to a gym is something that isn't am option. So I have found things I can do at home. Thanks to Pinterest I have found this workout. I so love this. It's a killer one for me but I do manage to finish it. I do it once I wake up to get me moving for the day and again in the late afternoon before I start dinner. In the AM I also do 2 1 min sets of toe Planks,  2 sets of Bicycle Exercise and 2 sets  of Reverse Crunch. In the PM i do  the fast workout and 30 min of dancing with the kids for cardio. If I don't do those I will do the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred when I wake up and walk my neighborhood in the PM. My rest days are Sunday and Thursday and I try to make Monday bog workout day to help me get moving for the week.

Week 2 down

This week was to eat whole grains and 64 oz of water everyday. The water I didn't have a problem becasue I have already been doing that. As for the whole wheat it was up and down. I got 5 out of 7 days for it. The reason for it was I have white flour things right now that I'm trying to use up before I buy the good stuff. But I did realize that unless it says 100% whole wheat it will have white flour in it.

As for weight I lost 3.2 lbs. I even tried on a church dress I haven't been able to fit into before Kerrington and it fit. Now it didn't look great with my fat roll hanging over the sides but I was able to zip it so I wore it to church.

Next week's challenge is to get 30 min extra cardio in.

Whole Wheat Waffles

These things are so yummy. I have never made waffles from scratch before let alone eat wheat ones. I decided to add blueberries just in case the taste wasn't good but they really didn't need anything to make them taste better. I used this recipe whole wheat waffles. I just added about 5 blueberries for each waffle. Because Sunday's are crazy busy with church and family things we hardly eat lunch so we always have a big breakfast. I had eggs (1/4 cup egg whites 1 whole egg) and an apple with my water with lemon. I didn't even use syrup on them.

Next time I'll half the berries and spread more evenly. Otherwise it was so good.

Week 1 down

It's the end of week 1 and I'm down .2 (0.13%) With how much I have changed how I eat and exercise I would have thought I lost more. It's only the first week so I'm okay with my lose. On the plus side I tried to get into a pair of jean and I was able to bottom up. The jelly fat still hung over the sides but at least I was able to button them up. This weeks challenge was to move more. Now with my father-in-law living with us it wasn't that hard. But I also tried to be more active also. I took a walk around our block and I even walked up and down my stairs for 15 min which is very boring and not fun. My exercise for this week was everything that I have gotten from Pintrest or from videos I have. Because going to a gym is hard for my situation right now I need to find things I can do at home. I have found this great love for Blogilates. She has so many easy and fun workouts that you do at home. She has all her videos on youtube. These are my favorites Ab Time, 20/20 workout and Fat melting Routine. I do it with Brighton and he just loves watching or doing it with me. He's always telling me how good I'm doing.

Before picture

Here is my before picture. I'm no longer nursing but my boobs are still the size of Texas. I think if i went down just 2 sizes in the bust I could easily be 10 lbs lighter!

Official weight was 148.2

Getting started!

I decided to start a blog about my weight loss journey. It's mostly for my records to help me keep track of how I'm doing and to help keep myself more accountable. I have tried so many times, and each time I have failed. In a way you could say that I have mastered the “how to fail at weight loss.”

I just had a baby 4 months ago. Currently I weigh 2 pounds more than my pre-pregnancy weight.  I'm starting out at...........147.2 pounds, size 9. :o My end goal is to be 115lbs and at least a size 5.

I don't really have a diet or exercise plan that I will be following. I'll just be eating more clean, increasing my exercise from none to at least 3 days a week, along with running 30+ min 2 days a week. Carl is  doing this with me, but I'm not sure just how serious he's taking it or how he's going to do. I think he’s mostly doing it to help keep me motivated. I'm also participating in a Biggest Loser challenge for 13 weeks to help me get started on my journey.
To help keep me motivated I have set a couple of little goals to help me along the way. The first goal is to lose 5 pounds by Valentine’s day. The second goal is to drop one size by my birthday, (March 2). The third goal is to finish the Biggest Loser challenge down 10 pounds and 1.5 sizes. When the completion is over or I reach my current goals, I will set three new goals.
